Product Overview Specialty Resins Resin Research Composite Pro System Low Viscosity System This system originally designed for use in RTM and other infusion systems has found it’s way in to numerous another applications such as, casting, electronic encapsulation, concrete primers, prepregs, filament winding and many fabric intensive projects such as marine construction.  A convenient 3 to 1 mix ratio provides for easy mixing at reduced viscosities.  Like our medium viscosity systems, the balance of excellent color, UV stability, varying hardener speeds, easy mix ratios, extremely low vapor pressure, excellent chemical adhesion and high gloss finish make this resin system easy and very safe to use. This resin system also can be used with Resin Research’s range of additives and modifiers to produce a wide range of high quality products. Excellent penetration and bond for porous substrates. Concrete primer. Also excellent for casting, electronic encapsulation and coatings. 2070 1 800 More flexible version with slightly lower viscosity. The standard for this system. Low viscosity for easy wet out in both hand lay up, infusion, RTM, etc. Excellent for bonding to difficult substrates where it’s flexibility helps in enhancing bond. Also excellent for casting, electronic encapsulation and coatings.   Specialty Hardeners Resin Research Composite Pro System Low Viscosity Systems This hardener system incorporates three curing agents to make it the one system that can be used for all composites and coatings. All the components are interchangeable so changing from a high modulus resin to a more flexible resin is as easy as picking up a different bottle. Likewise the hardeners are all 3 to 1 mix ratio so almost any job can be finished with working ease. This system has the best balance of color, U.V. stability and high gloss in a system specifically designed for infusion, vacuum bagging, hand lay up and contact molding applications. These features provide clear, blush free, high strength composites. In infusion applications its low viscosity provides easy and complete wet out and excellent adhesion of fiberglass, carbon and Kevlar fabrics. The excellent UV characteristics, high gloss and chemical adhesion qualities make this system excellent for numerous other industries including architectural, flooring, casting, and electronic encapsulation. The excellent bonding properties also extend to concrete and metals. Low vapor, simple mix ratio, low exotherm, low viscosity and three hardener speeds make this system a unique in it‘s field.
